At St Ives Family Dental, we take pride in our legacy of being a family dental practice. Dr. Jim Hardwick started the dental clinic in 1965 at 5 Memorial Ave, St Ives. Dr. Nigel Hardwick joined his father after graduation and continued his legacy. Dr. Nirav Ashra joined the St Ives Family Dental team in 2023 and is committed to continue the tradition of providing safe, comfortable, and affordable family-friendly dental services moving forwards. We are committed to offering comprehensive dental services for complete oral health, ensuring a stunning smile that you'll want to share with everyone.

Meet Our Dentists

Our team is led by Dr Nirav Ashra and Dr Nigel Hardwick, local dentists committed to providing high-quality, affordable dental care for all ages. Dr. Nirav Ashra, a registered Invisalign provider, brings expertise in general and preventative dentistry. Dr. Nigel Hardwick, with a focus on both Preventative dental care and Advanced Restorative dentistry, aims to help patients retain perfect teeth throughout their lives.

Dr Nirav Ashra

Dr. Nirav completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 2013 and got his Australian dental accreditation in 2016. He has practised at several locations both overseas and in Australia. In Australia he has worked in Queensland and Wollongong region before starting at St Ives Family Dental.

Dr. Nirav is proficient in all aspects of general and preventative dentistry and is also a registered Invisalign provider. He has thorough knowledge of dentistry and likes to upscale himself with recent advances to serve his patient better. His kind, caring and ethical nature helps to make long term relations with families and individuals, providing quality dental service to them.

On Personal note, Dr. Nirav has a young family and loves cooking new dishes and gardening in his spare time.

Dr Nigel Hardwick

Dr. Nigel Hardwick joined his father soon after he graduated. He also has completed his fellowship with the Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons, focusing on both Preventive dental care and Advanced Restorative dentistry. He has been serving his patients for around 40 years.

Dr. Nigel is highly experienced and likes to keep up to date with recent technology in dentistry. He is praised by his patients and has gained their trust. He loves his patients and aims to help patients retain their perfect teeth throughout their lives.
